Latin America's Top Dance Games on Android in Q4 2020

As the year 2020 came to a close, dance game enthusiasts in Latin America were actively engaging with a variety of apps in the genre on Android devices. Sensor Tower's data provides a snapshot of how the top five dance games performed in the fourth quarter.

Dance Clash: Ballet vs Hip Hop saw a steady increase in downloads, starting at 43K in late September and reaching a peak of 64K by the end of December. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trend, from 253K to 275K in the same period.

Just Dance Now experienced a decline in downloads from 70K to 44K over the quarter, with a noticeable dip in October. Active users also decreased, falling from 166K to 114K by the year's end. Revenue, however, showed an increase from $17K to $21K in the final week of December.

Ice Skating Ballerina Life had varied download numbers throughout the quarter, with a significant spike to 41K in early December before settling at 32K towards the end of the month. Weekly active users peaked at 85K in early December but ended the quarter at 64K.

My Town: Dance School Fun Game maintained consistent download figures, hovering around 20K throughout the quarter, with a slight drop to 16K in the final week. The number of active users showed a modest rise from 22K to 26K in mid-December before declining to 23K.

JoJo Siwa - Live to Dance had a dramatic increase in downloads in mid-December, jumping from a low of 511 to an impressive 39K. This surge also reflected in the weekly active users, which rose from 118K to 160K before finishing the quarter at 158K.
